  1. Complex Carbohydrates

You can eat more slow or complex carbohydrates and curtail highly processed carbohydrates foods. Bad carbohydrates such as, cakes, cookies, white rice or white bread is digested by the body and turned into blood sugar fast. Good carbohydrates such as, vegetables, fruits, whole grains or beans are digested by the body gradually and slowly and it takes lots of time to change it into blood sugar.
